  In this audio slideshow, car-owner Cody Vincil talks about the effort and labor of love he put into his 1967 Pontiac Firebird while showing it off at the Virginia Tech Car Club annual Car Show, which was held out by Blacksburg Airport. Cody talks about how he came to buy the Firebird, what went on from that point onwards, and how it became the car it is today with his experiences and work ethic. Mr. Vincil also managed to win best Muscle Car at the award show, as the Firebird showed well in its dark red paint coat to all admirers of the machine itself. The Pontiac was also one of the loudest cars at the show, especially when Mr. Vincil turned up the revs in the engine. Mr. Vincil works on VT’s campus with its fire and electrical emergency systems and helps to make sure the university is kept safe and ran smoothly.
